John Boase

Director

John has held Senior Leadership positions within several global consultancies and over the years has managed a team of people servicing clients across Natural Resources markets both in and out of Australia. John’s experience encompasses preliminary and detailed estimates, probabilistic cost risk analysis, tender and contract negotiation, commercial management, and cost control. He specialties include tender and contract formulation and development, independent project reviews, Estimating Class I – IV, cost and schedule risk analysis.

A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), John has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Quantity Surveying), is a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FAIQS). John is a professional Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years’ experience. He has practiced in the United Kingdom, SE Asia and for the past 25 years in Australia. John has ambitiously focused his attention on the Natural Resource sector, which has successfully resulted in the engagement of new multinational clients for his employers over the years. He is passionate about developing the role of Quantity Surveying within the Natural Resources sector, has presented at several seminars and spoke regularly at Curtin University. John has worked on landmark projects such as Ichthys (INPEX), Prelude FLNG (Shell), Gorgon (Chevron), Pilbara (BHP), Scarborough (Woodside), Browse (Woodside), Canada LNG (Shell) and Coral FLNG (ENI).
