Sarah Bright

Sarah is a highly esteemed Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, and Contract Administrator with an extensive career spanning over 25 years. Her expertise has been applied to numerous billion dollar projects across a wide range of industries, including minerals, energy, and infrastructure. She possesses a deep understanding of all classes of estimates and actively engages with stakeholders at all levels to provide impartial advice, empowering owners and operators to make informed and strategic decisions.

Sarah’s key technical competencies encompass estimating, commercial management, tender and contract negotiations, cost control, and the administration of audits for dispute resolution. Her meticulous approach to every aspect of her work ensures a high level of rigor in all deliverables, coupled with transparent and effective communication to her clients. Highlighted sector experience in Sarah’s illustrious career includes her work in the Energy, Minerals, and Chemicals sector, where she led the estimation efforts for projects spanning Gold, Lithium, Nickel, and Rare Earth ventures, with individual project values of approximately $3 billion. She conducted assurance reviews on existing CAPEX estimates for Copper, Lithium, and Gold projects, adhering to AACEI Class 2, 3, and 4 standards.

Furthermore, Sarah’s expertise extends to the Property sector, where she delivers estimating and contract administration services for commercial projects, including developing MTOs, tender preparation, and advanced estimating software implementation. In the Defence sector, she provided quantity surveying services for the Devonport Royal Dockyard Naval Base Upgrade, with a notable involvement in a £20 million arbitration claim and contributions to projects worth £365 million, covering demolition, maintenance, and new facility construction. In the Water sector, Sarah offered cost management services to Snowy Hydro Limited and Southwest Water, focusing on water treatment, sewage facilities, and flood defence projects.

Throughout her career, Sarah has demonstrated her ability to navigate complex projects, manage costs effectively, and provide invaluable insights into cost estimates and project management.
