Bruce Dykstra is an accomplished Estimator and Quantity Surveyor specializing in the energy and chemicals sector, particularly oil and gas projects. Recently, he took over as lead estimator for a large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in its Define Phase, managing cost estimation with precision and strategic foresight. He reviewed and implemented cost-saving opportunities while ensuring alignment with project goals.

Bruce also led estimation efforts for an innovative e-methane project, producing a Class IV estimate for a system combining captured CO2 with green hydrogen to produce methane. He leveraged vendor quotes and historical data to outline capital and operating expenditures for the methanation plant and renewable energy infrastructure.

Before transitioning to energy projects, Bruce was a skilled estimator in construction, contributing to major projects like the $23 million Forrest Future Industries Office & Warehouse Refurbishment (14,000 sqm). His expertise in estimation and supply chain strategy consistently enhances project efficiency.
