PROJECTS

Project Experience

Our personnel have extensive experience across various projects in both the Energy and Mining industries.

SANTOS Dorado Project

Dorado oil and gas discovery is in the Bedout basin within the Caley Member, offshore Western Australia. It is situated approximately 160km north of Port Hedland, near the Pilbara region of Australia.

The Dorado prospect was discovered by the Dorado-1 discovery well in July 2018. The discovery well is located less than 20km up-dip of the Roc-1 and Roc-2 discoveries in the WA-437-P permit.

The development plan for the Dorado oil and gas discovery includes drilling of deviated wells using a jack-up drilling rig. The wells will be tied-back to a floating production, storage, and offloading vessel (FPSO), which will hold the produced oil for refining and sale.

Woodside Scarborough Project

The Scarborough field is in the Carnarvon Basin, approximately 375 km off the coast of Western Australia, and is estimated to contain 11.1 trillion cubic feet (100%) of dry gas. The resource will be received through new offshore facilities connected by an approximately 430 km pipeline to a second LNG train (Pluto Train 2) at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility.

The development includes eight wells drilled in the initial phase and thirteen wells over the life of the Scarborough field. All wells are tied back to a semi-submersible floating production unit (FPU) that is moored in 950 m of water close to the Scarborough field. Approximately 5Mtpa of Scarborough gas will be processed through Pluto Train 2, with up to 3 Mtpa processed through the existing Pluto Train 1.

INPEX Ichthys Project

Ichthys LNG project consists of Ichthys gas-condensate field located approximately 220km offshore Western Australia, one of the world’s largest LNG projects.

The facility is designed to produce 8.9 Mtpa of LNG and 1.65Mtpa of LPG, in addition to up to 100,000 barrels of condensate a day (at peak) over its 40 years of operational life.

Ichthys commenced commercial production and started condensate and LNG shipments in October 2018.

Roy Hill Project

The Roy Hill Project is located approximately 277km southwest of Port Hedland and is at the eastern end of the Chichester Range in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The rail, mine processing plant, and port facility is designed to produce 55Mtpa.

The operations consisted of:

  • Conventional open pit, bulk mining operation;
  • 55Mtpa wet processing plant;
  • 344-kilometre single line, heavy haul railway; and
  • Dedicated two berth port facility at Port Hedland, capable of receiving, stockpiling, screening, and exporting 55Mtpa (wet) of direct shipped iron ore as lump and fines

ENI Coral FLNG

Eni’s first FLNG, the Coral Sul will be located off the coast of Mozambique and is scheduled to begin production in 2022. It is designed to deliver 3.4Mtpa of LNG entirely to bp.

The FLNG facility was constructed at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea. The vessel is 432 meters long, weighs around 200,000 tonnes, and includes an eight-story living quarters capable of accommodating up to 350 people.

This will be the world’s deepest facility with wells drilled nearly 2,000 meters deep. Six wells in total will flow into the FLNG facility.
