Wilco Van Amersfoort is a highly experienced Senior Planner with over 26 years in the oil and gas industry, specializing in project scheduling, maintenance planning, and progress reporting. His expertise spans engineering, construction, shutdowns, and offshore operations, where he has developed and maintained complex project schedules for major industry leaders, including Shell, Woodside Energy, Inpex, Santos, ENI, Esso, BHPB, and Origin Energy.
Throughout his career, Wilco has played a key role in ensuring project efficiency by integrating schedules with major milestones such as mechanical completion, site mobilization, and in-field operations. He has extensive experience in drilling and completions, inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) planning, as well as EPCM project management. His ability to align project timelines with operational constraints has been instrumental in improving efficiency and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects.
Most recently, Wilco has been engaged as a planner for Shell, applying his expertise in offshore operations, drilling, and maintenance planning. Prior to this, he spent over a decade at Woodside Energy, where he developed and managed schedules for drilling and completions, IMR, and development projects. His experience at Technip Oceania further solidified his capabilities in offshore planning, where he worked on high-profile projects such as Prelude FLNG, Ichthys Flexible Supply, and several other major field developments.
With a Master of Science in Maintenance and Safety Management from Hogeschool Zeeland and extensive practical experience in scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, Wilco brings a meticulous and strategic approach to project planning. His ability to integrate complex scheduling processes with business objectives makes him an asset in delivering projects on time and within budget.
